Keeping in traditional Western style it has a hand-filling grip long revered for comfort and natural feel while the patented reverse indexing pawl makes for easy loading and unloading. Holstering is simplified with the traditional beveled cylinder design and Rugers patented transfer bar mechanism helps guard against accidental discharge.
