The Howa compact varmint model is built with a 20″ heavy barrel, and is

offered in .223 Remington a highly popular varmint caliber. The short,

heavy barrel provides ease of maneuvering and excellent heat dissipation.

The Hogue overmolded stock in OD green has aluminum pillar bedding and a

soft rubber skin for sure, weather beating grip. It won’t harden with age,

impervious to gun cleaning solvents/gun oils. Pillar bedding uses aluminum

bosses for rock-solid accuracy. Barrel free-floats for maximum accuracy.

Stocks come with ambidextrous palm swells, a varminter style forend,

built-in swivel studs and Hogue recoil pad.
