Description
(30 Inch version shown)
Designed by John M. Browning, Winchester’s High-Wall single-shot rifle began life at the end of the buffalo hunting era and made its name in the golden age of target shooting before World War I. Uberti offers a line of High-Wall rifles including the round-barreled Carbine, the octagon-barreled Sporting Rifle with straight grip, and the Special Sporting Rifle offered with straight or checkered pistol grip. The 1885 High-Wall is chambered in three of the classic buffalo hunting cartridges of the 1870s – .45-70 Government and new for 2005, .45-
