Description
Revolving rifles and carbines were among the first effective repeating rifles. Models produced by Colt were carried in the Mexican War and in the Apache wars of the Old Southwest. Despite the popularity of the new lever action rifles introduced after the Civil War, many manufacturers continued to offer special-order “carbine” versions of their popular single action revolvers. For shooters who prefer a fixed stock, the Single Action Revolver Carbine offers an 18″ barrel in .45 Colt. The curved trigger guard spur makes a good spot for the non-shooting hand; the barrel should not be grasped while firing.
