Springfields XD Compact has a matted barrel with a shortened compact frame, ready for daily carry with flush-fitting magazines. It has dual spring with full length guide rod, dovetail steel 3-dot sights. With an OAL of 7.3, it has a 4 hammer forged steel barrel with a melonite finish, and a 1:16 twist. It is 5 tall and 29 oz. with compact mag; 5.75 tall and 30 oz. with extension magazine. The striker status indicator, loaded chamber indicator, grip safety, Ultra Safety Assurance (USA) Action Trigger System and internal firing pin block bring the safety and usability. The XD Compact brings superior ergonomics a reliable performance that make the XD easy and intuitive to use in a slightly abbreviated big-bore (.45 ACP) package for uncompromising firepower.
This model has a black polymer grip/frame and a black melonite slide. It CA compliant and comes with two 10-round stainless steel magazines.
