The Vaquero SASS is designed for big Wild West enthusiasts with an emphasis on replicating the feel of the popular single-action revolvers of the time period. The revolver features a traditional western-style, hand-filling grip that allows for a more natural and comfortable point along with a larger crescent-shaped ejector rod head that helps to complete the cowboy/cowgirl look. A traditional-style beveled cylinder facilitates easier holstering and is paired with Ruger’s patented reverse indexing pawl that allows for easer loading and unloading. These classic features are paired with a modern transfer bar and loading gate interlock system to provide an unparalleled measure of security against accidental discharge.

This special edition package consists of a two-gun, consecutive serial number set with the SASS prefix. It is chambered in .45 Long Colt and features a 5.5-inch barrel, 6-shot cylinder and high-gloss finish on a stainless steel frame and barrel. A commemorative case for storage and display is included.
