Full-sized stainless steel Target model features a Bomar-style fully adjustable rear sight and an extended, ambidextrous manual safety. Satin-finished stainless steel with blackened controls with deluxe checkered G-10 textured grips. Skeletonized hammer; lightweight aluminum skeletonized trigger. Oversized ejection port and extended magazine release. Rear slide serrations. Accepts standard, aftermarket 1911 parts and accessories. Ships with stainless steel magazines.
Ruger’s SR1911 Target pistol goes through a precision CNC-controlled machining process that results in a superior slide-to-frame fit and smooth slide travel. The bushingless stainless steel bull barrel provides additional weight at the muzzle for improved recoil control, aided by a full length guide rod. It features a lightweight, aluminum, skeletonized trigger, skeletonized hammer, oversized beavertail grip and extended thumb safety.
