Description
Liberty’s Civil Defense rounds are designed to achieve more stopping power (kinetic energy) and terminal effect (wound cavity/lethality) than any other handgun round. A personal defense round, the Civil Defense line is lead-free and uses a monolithic nickel-plated copper fragmenting projectile with a deep cavity hollow point in a nickel-plated (brass) cartridge case. Civil Defense travels at approximately twice the speed of traditional lead based ammunition and delivers 30 to 40% more kinetic energy transfer than other leading ammunition. The 50 GR, 380 Auto Civil Defense round generates velocities in excess of 1500 FPS with more than 250 FPE of kinetic energy.
