Designed specifically for the 7.62X51mm NATO (.308) cartridge, it delivers outstanding performance on any bolt action tactical or semi-automatic rifle. It is offered either with a standard 5/8×24 thread mount or the new maintenance free Gemtech Quik-Mount mounting system (patents pending).The HVT has an unusually quiet sound signature that is indistinguishable from and masked by the bullet flight noise, making it ideal for both urban and rural tactical operations. Recoil and flash reduction are unparalleled.The all new Gemtech Quik-Mount mounting system permits consistent mounting with repeatable accuracy. The male mount is torqued into position to assure utmost accuracy. It retains compatibility with the older bi-lock mounts.
