FN’s FNS-9 Compact is engineered and tested to be a perfectly compact, reliable, and battle-tested handgun. It has a snag-free design for better concealment and a faster draw with a grip angle that provides unmatched point of aim. It features a 3.6″ cold hammer-forged stainless steel barrel with a polished chamber and feed ramp. The stainless steel slide has front and rear cocking serrations. The checkered polymer frame has replaceable steel frame/slide rails, a serrated trigger guard, MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail, and interchangeable backstraps with lanyard eyelets. This striker-fired double action pistol has an external extractor, loaded chamber indicator, and no manual safety. It is equipped with a fully ambidextrous slide stop lever and magazine release for ease of operation with either hand from any firing position. Part of the FDE & BLK Series, this FN 509 has a matte black slide with an FDE polymer grip/frame and two FDE interchangeable backstraps. It has fixed, 3-dot luminescent sights.
