Description

FN’s 509 pistol is built on the proven architecture of the FNS Compact. It features a cold hammer-forged stainless steel barrel with a recessed target crown and polished chamber and feed ramp. The slide has front and rear cocking serrations, and easily-racked, combat-style sights. The polymer frame has an enhanced grip texture for faster follow-up shots in all conditions, a MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail, and interchangeable backstraps. This striker-fired double action pistol has an external extractor, loaded chamber indicator, and no manual safety. It is equipped with a fully ambidextrous slide stop lever and magazine release. Part of the FDE & BLK Series, this FN 509 has a matte black slide with an FDE polymer grip/frame and two FDE interchangeable backstraps. This LE configuration has fixed, 3-dot night sights.
