Lower and upper receivers are Type III hard coat anodized. Chrome Moly Vanadium steel, cold hammer forged barrel, Government profile Chrome Lined, and Mil-Spec heavy phosphate cooated. Pinned low profile carbine length gas block with Mil-Spec heavy phosphate coating, direct impingement. 1 turn in 7 inch twist. Daniel Defense flash suppressor with salt bath nitride finished. M16 profile bolt carrier, chrome lined with properly staked gas key. H buffer. No sights. Daniel Defense RIS II MK18 handguard is CNC machined of 6061-T6 Aluminum and Type III hard coat anodized finish. Equipped with pistol stabilizer brace. Daniel Defense pistol grip with soft touch overmolding. Three rail panels made from santoprene, heat resistant to 300 degrees F. Includes DD full-latch impact plastic case.
