Description

Daniel Defense took the 7.62mm platform and completely re-engineered it from muzzle to buttstock to develop the DD5 rifle. With innovative features like an improved bolt carrier group and ambidextrous controls, the DD5 delivers accuracy, reliability, and durability. It utilizes an oversized trigger guard and flared magazine well, chrome-lined, heavy phosphate-coated free-float barrel, free-float rail and Geissele SSA 2-Stage trigger. The buttstock features a nonslip cheek weld, interchangeable butt pads and an integrated QD point. The DD5V1 model is a performance-driven platform is built around a cold hammer forged government profile barrel with an integral DD improved flash suppressor. Its mid-length gas system provides smooth and reliable cycling. A free-floating MFR XS 15″ handguard offers incredible weight savings and features an uninterrupted Picatinny rail on top. The rifle is finished off with the rugged and comfortable Daniel Defense buttstock and pistol grip.This CO-compliant M-Lok model has a 16″ barrel and a black cerakote finish.
